If you're running a business at $30K–$300K–$3M a month, you know the things that need to improve. What's harder to find is someone who's actually done it.
• Run the marketing campaigns
• Lived on the front line of sales
• Built and trained the operation teams
• Managed the P&L
• Sat in the same chair you're sitting in right now
Success in business is less about HOW and more about WHO. Deep down you know that what got you here won't get you there. The answer usually isn't a new tactic. It's finding the right WHO you can trust. That's where I come in.
I don't hand you a strategy deck and disappear… unless you want me to. I can embed with you, strategically identify what will move needles and what won't. I help:
• Dial in the marketing gaps
• Build the systems
• Find new revenue streams
• And stay in it until we see results
Most of my clients need help across more than one area and that's where having someone who understands the full picture makes a world of difference.
Your offer is the foundation of everything. I help you clearly identify what sets you apart from your competitors, define your ideal audience, identify the value proposition, sharpen the messaging, and test entry points that lower your cost per acquisition, all without blowing up what's already working.
I build or fine-tune the sales process from lead to close. Offer positioning, call scripts, sales process, follow-up sequences, and the performance frameworks your business needs to perform consistently.
Driving traffic through an optimized funnel architecture is the key starting point. Then, we identify the best marketing channels for your offer and audience. Next, I build or fine-tune the conversion systems and begin testing direct response campaigns on social media, search, and/or audio advertising (podcast/radio).
Getting someone to sign up is half the battle. Keeping them is where recurring revenue either compounds or falls apart. Most businesses I work with are sitting on a subscription opportunity they haven't fully built yet. I help you
• Design the offer• Set the pricing structure• Build the onboarding sequence• Put the retention systems in placeEvery important step gains and retains subscribers and grows customer lifetime value (LTV).
It's hard to improve what you don't measure:
• KPI dashboards• SOP development• P&L accountability• Management infrastructureHaving started on the front lines of Sales, then Founder, CEO, CMO, and CRO, I know intricately what it takes to build the right systems and teams.
For operators who want a senior entrepreneurial perspective in their corner on an ongoing basis, I can be your WHO. It's like having a vested partner by your side without the downsides of having partners. The sooner you get here, the sooner you can eliminate the "founder bottleneck" of your entire business depending on you personally being there. Now you can spend more time working ON your business instead of IN your business and begin to enjoy the freedom of your success. Ask me about how to "hurricane-proof" yourself.
I've operated in each of these markets, not just consulted in them. That distinction matters when you're making decisions with real money on the line.
Filling rooms profitably is harder than it looks — and most people advising you have only ever seen one part of the machine. I've run all of it. CEO, CMO, on-stage presenter, and back-of-room operator. I know where the marketing breaks, where the sales process leaks, and what it actually takes to make the event economics work at scale.
Live Events →• Patient acquisition• Intake conversions• Optimized retentionThese aren't marketing problems, they're business operator problems. They are all fixable. Having built and run men's health clinics averaging $3M in annual revenue, I'm working from a stress-tested playbook, not one I assembled from the outside looking in.
Healthcare Practices →Most businesses are one subscription program away from predictable cash flow, a higher valuation, and a business that doesn't depend entirely on new sales every month. I've built a 5,000+ subscriber program and know exactly where these fail and where they compound. Getting someone to join is the easy part.
Subscription Revenue →"I've never consulted on something I haven't done myself. That's not a policy — it's just how I ended up here."
1997 – The First Bet
I saw the internet coming before most people knew what to do with it. I raised $250K, launched DotCom Solutions — a live event company teaching small businesses how to build e-commerce operations — and did $12M in revenue in the first year. Successful exit a year later. That bet set the pattern for everything that followed.
Early 2000's – Learning the Machine
I spent years inside some of the top live event companies in the country. Directly managing $6M+ in annual marketing budgets across multi-channel, performance-driven campaigns in the US and Canada. TV, radio, direct mail, digital. I learned what moves the needle and what burns money.
CMO – Building the Engine
Later, I was brought on as full-time CMO with a young company and within 2 years scaled from $5M to $30M+ in annual revenue through national TV, radio, and direct response campaigns. Working alongside TV business celebrities, we produced 4 books, 8 training programs, and sold out live events across the country. It was in those years of testing, refining, and optimizing I began to clearly understand what a fully-optimized marketing machine actually looks like.
On Stage – Doing It Myself
Then I was fortunate to work with a couple of the Sharks from the TV Show Shark Tank. I jumped back on the stage and over the next few years, I trained over 45,000 entrepreneurs and investors at live events across the country and sold $35M+ in training and services. Standing in front of rooms full of people who've bet everything on their business helped me hone the skills of drilling-down to the specific strategies and tactics needed and how to use technology and the right team to scale to the next level. Real-world constant learning and testing, not classroom theories.
The Clinics – A Different Kind of Challenge
I opened men's health clinics. Eight providers and staff, $3M+ in annual revenue, and every operational challenge that comes with a physical healthcare business. I wanted to know what it felt like to have patients depending on you, a team to manage, and a P&L that doesn't care about your marketing background. Now I know.
Now – The Canton Group
The Canton Group brings all of it under one roof. 25+ years of connections, systems, and real-world experience, combined with a full embrace of where AI and emerging technologies are taking marketing and business operations next. I work with a select number of clients at a time. You're not getting an account manager assigned to your business. You're getting me.

I don't salt soup before I taste it. Before we talk, I want to understand your business — where you are, where you're stuck, and what you've already tried. The assessment takes about 3 minutes and I review every response personally before reaching out.
I work with a select number of clients. If there's a fit, I'll tell you. If not, I'll tell you that too.
